I just loved that little topper in the post below by Thimbleberries, so yesterday afternoon I got to work on a few more.

Here is the first one, once again, the picture does not do it justice. Do you notice the little fooooopppaaa I made?

The colors look a little better on this one and as I look I notice that the leaves colors are a shade off from the border...hummmmm. Maybe I should have taken a picture with all of the fabric together before I started sewing and cutting?
Here I embroidered stockings.

Had lots of fun but the only problem is....now I have to finish them or they will be thrown in the UFO bottomless pit of.

Thanks for all of your wonderful ideas for an activity for the Young Women, now the hard part is to chose which one or ones....

Barb, those are so cute! And I think the color of the holly leaves are fine...they go with the deeper color of the holly in the border fabric! It just amazes me that you can get so many done so quickly! :o)

XOXO,

Cyndi

I wasn't sure whether that one holly was to go up or the other one go down. LOL Cute toppers though!!!

Great projects. At least you are getting something finished! Love that fooooopppaaa! So cute. We've all done it. Today I sewed a width of fabric strip to a quilt with the right side facing the wrong side. Yikes! At least I hadn't cut any of it and could still fix it.

I just gave some of my wall hangings to my children today - even though it's hard to give them away it's fun to see how they enjoy them. blessings, marlene

The embroidered top is very cute. It's way too easy to keep making tops and never turn them into quilts.

We never admit to foooooppppppaaaaa's!!
They are always happy accidents, and I am sure there is a story as to why it is that way. In remembrance of someone special who has departed, because the grocery boy loading your car dropped your holly bush, etc etc. You know I believe anything you tell me!!! hahahaha They are adorable!

Love the wallhangings. The top one reminds me of ME, always facing opposite of others! LOL...this is what gives it that additional charm!

oops. One block was upside down. I guess I am not the only one who does stuff like that.
